Center for Positive Organizations
Kashay Sanders is a first year MBA at the Ross School of Business, focused on building a career in strategic human resource management.
Before Ross, Kashay worked in the international development, government and nonprofit sectors on issues ranging from girls’ empowerment to workforce development to community organizing. While she loved her work, she witnessed the way that stronger organizational design and people management had the potential to produce better results, while making employees more excited to engage in their daily tasks. This inspired Kashay to pursue a career in human capital and organizational design. She applied to Ross specifically for resources such as the +Lab Fellowship and the Center for Positive Organizations.
Kashay is excited to serve the PBP team this year and glean insights on positive organizational practices she can later replicate in future places of work. In addition to the PBP committee, Kashay is involved in the Detroit Revitalization & Business Club, Human Capital Club and the Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee.
